Maha Ganapathy Homam
Lord Vinayaka was appointed by Lord Shiva as the lord of all the Bhootaganas. It is only after we worship Lord Vinayaka as the first deity that we engage in other activities. In this case, the yagna is known as MahaGanapati Homam, which is chanted using the moola mantra. Ganapati is a troubleshooter. If you perform homam with devotion with the ingredients of Modakam, Appam, Arugambil and Ghee, which are the favourites of Lord Ganapathi, then the desired thing will be fulfilled.
Generally, Ganapati Homam can be performed on a good day or on Chaturthi. It is customary to celebrate auspicious occasions such as grahapravesh.
Navagraha homam
Navagrahas are the nine planets from The Sun to Rahu and Ketu mentioned in astrology. The Lord governs the life of a man through navagrahas. Planets will do good to some people and harm to others according to the horoscope. In this life, one’s sinful merits are determined by the sins committed in a previous life. However, navagrahahomam and puja are suitable for reducing the pain caused by navagrahas. Performing mantra japamarchana, neivethyam and puja along with kalash and navagrahamandalam will definitely yield positive results.
